"Joy House Rocks" was inspired by Bill Stewart, Marla Truitt's dad, his love for Joy House mission, and his desire to plant seeds of LOVE globally. In honor of his legacy, the mission of our rocks will be to create a fun and engaging activity that prings people together to promote positivity and joy. Through our rock painting, we will aim to provide a creative outlet for all! Once the rock is decorated, they can be gifted or placed in a public area for someone else to find. The new owner can then keep it as a reminder of kindness, or hide it for someone else. The rock's journey will spread the Joy House mission of empowering adults with special needs.Our ultimate goal is to spread joy and bring people together through the simplicity of creativity, love, community, and JOY!!
How to join the Joy House Rocks Movement

Create Your Masterpiece! Design your rock with love, color, and creativity. Feel free to include a joyful message or drawing!

Make It Magical! While you create, think of someone who might smile because of this rock. You're spreading more than just art, you are spreading hope and JOY!

Release the JOY! Here is how: gift it to someone you know, or place it in a public space where someone new might find it, like a park, bench, trail, cafe, etc.
